- The foldr vector store can use the appliance's own Solr, in a core of its own. On SaaS the shared Solr is refused: name a host of your own.

Methods
Section titled “Methods”vectors.foldr(host: string, core: string) → Foldr
A vector store in a Solr core. The appliance’s own Solr (the host Foldr’s search is configured with) is configuration rather than script input and is not checked, as mash.tika’s own Tika is not; any other host is. On SaaS there is no such exception: the shared Solr is infrastructure, which the guard refuses.
On the own Solr a store may not be a core Foldr searches (the default collection, or any share’s): the store reads and writes its core with no share, permission or tenant filter, so it could list documents the script’s owner cannot open and replace real documents by id (2026-10-06). A vector store keeps a core of its own.
pinecone
Section titled “pinecone”vectors.pinecone(apiKey: string, indexHost?: string) → Pinecone
A Pinecone vector store. The index host is checked here, and the store’s client sends everything (control plane, data plane, redirects) through the guard, as mash.pinecone’s does. (Before 2026-09-30 this named the class PineCone; the file is Pinecone.php, so the autoloader never found it and the method always failed.)
