Tika
mash.tika · Utilities
Limited on SaaS
- On an appliance, leaving the host out uses the appliance's own Tika. On SaaS there is no local Tika, so name a host, and it goes through the network guard.
Methods
Section titled “Methods”client
Section titled “client”tika.client(host?: string = "localhost")
Create an Apache Tika content extraction client.
The host is the script’s choice, so every request the client makes goes through the SSRF guard (no internal or reserved addresses unless an administrator allowed them). Leaving the host out, or naming “localhost” (the default), is the appliance’s own Tika and is not checked; that is configuration rather than script input, and it can only ever be the loopback Tika port.
